| Just trying to get the information straight... Bosch states their sensors can withstand and function perfectly in 1000 C or 1800 F temperature. You said the most the sensor can ever see is 900 F. That's incorrect. I don't know why Innovative says 900 F. But I'd think Bosch would know their products better. Anyway, what's the hottest our turbo cars can see? 1200+F at the exhaust valves? Much of that heat is converted into kinetic energy of spinning the turbine. How much heat is left after the turbine wheel? I don't know. I don't have an EGT mounted there. But I think a turbine can usually reduce temperature by upto 400 F. So realistically it won't see 900 F after the turbo. Even if it does in the worst case, it should be well covered.
